Ballingry Store Official Launch

The residents of Ballingry were out in force on Friday 15th , to take part in the opening launch of the new Avens store which will be serving their community from now on with a host of great deals and products on offer regularly.

Manager of the shop, Michael Cunningham said, “It was a hugely successful day with a great number of people turning out for the opening ceremony. There were lots of giveaways and loads of prizes being won. 

The local pipe band played along and a few of Ballingry’s local heroes turned out to cut the ribbon on the day. Ally Mitchell (played in the Scottish League football), Willie Stark (awarded citizen of the year) and Keevah Young (awarded young citizen of the year).

All proceeds raised from the raffle tickets went to the Benarty Toy Appeal, total raised was £343.76.
